Welcome to NKHTGT, the largest European racing series for pre-’66 FIA touring cars and GT’s.

The preparations for the 2020 season are almost completed. We have been working hard to offer our drivers a nice program with lots of variety. Of course we race at Zandvoort, Spa-Francorchamps and the TT Circuit of Assen. During the Historic Zandvoort Trophy we will drive on the renewed F1 circuit for the first time! An exciting new experience for everyone. The Gamma Racing Day at TT circuit Assen again offers us a prime time start time on Sunday. And, for the first time since 2007 we are back at the Zolder Circuit. A unique event with few noise restrictions in cooperation with the Supercar Challenge. Out ambition to visit one ne track every year will be fulfilled with the help of our French friends at HVM Racing: we’re closing the season on the impressive and famous Le Mans Bugatti circuit. But that is a long way away – we will start the 2020 season in Germany with the Preis der Stadt Stuttgart at the Hockenheimring from 17 to 19 April.

For 2020 we have initiated a number of organizational changes. One of these is an application to the FIA which should result in NKHTGT becoming an international series. A logical step, if only because of our international program and entrants, and the confirmation of the quality of our series. Our aim will remain unchanged, to offer our participants a programme that is as international and affordable as possible, catering for FIA appendix K compliant pre ’66 touring cars and GTs. For you as a participant this means two things: please ensure you have an international racing license and also make sure your car has (or will shortly have) a valid HTP. Incidentally, the vast majority of our participants already met both requirements in 2019.

For the forthcoming season we are thrilled with the many beautiful cars that will feature in our races, driven by many well-known but also a lot of new participants. We are especially pleased with four new registrations from Scandinavia, but there will also be new participants from Germany and the Netherlands.

At this moment more than 35 package deals have been sold. At 40 we will close the entry, because we will share the track at the Spa Summer Classic with the Triumph Competitions series for a 1-hour race. As soon as we have reached 40 package deals, only individual entries for our races are available, provided there are enough grid slots. So be quick if you want to race a full season on the most beautiful and appealing European tracks! Even as an international series, we strive to keep the entry fees as low as possible – we are Dutch after all! This is made possible by our highly valued sponsors: Nolte Küchen, Gamma and HP Tyres.

As chairman it is my obligation to look ahead. In 2021 we will celebrate our 25th anniversary and of course we will do that with a series of races on the most beautiful circuits in Europe. As an international series, with an organisation that is ready for the future, a stable and clear set of rules based on the technical regulations of FIA Appendix K and all that at very affordable entry fees.

But before that happens I am looking forward to a fantastic 2020 season. See you at the Hockenheimring!

Welkom bij NKHTGT, dé grootste Europese raceserie voor pre-’66 FIA toerwagens en GT’s.

De voorbereidingen voor het seizoen 2020 zijn bijna afgerond. De afgelopen tijd hebben we hard gewerkt om onze rijders een mooi programma met volop afwisseling te kunnen aanbieden. Natuurlijk rijden we op Zandvoort, Spa-Francorchamps en op het TT Circuit van Assen. Tijdens de Historic Zandvoort Trophy  rijden wij voor de eerste keer op het vernieuwde F1 circuit! Een spannende nieuwe ervaring voor iedereen. De Gamma Racing Day op TT circuit Assen biedt ons weer een prime time starttijd op zondag en voor het eerst sinds 2007 zijn we terug op het Circuit van Zolder. Een uniek evenement met ruime geluidslimiet in samenwerking met de Supercar Challenge. Ons streven om ieder jaar een nieuw circuit te bezoeken vullen we dit jaar in met onze Franse vrienden van HVM Racing: we sluiten het seizoen af op het indrukwekkende en fameuze Le Mans Bugatti circuit. Maar we beginnen het seizoen 2020 in Duitsland tijdens de Preis der Stadt Stuttgart op de Hockenheimring van 17 t/m 19 april.

Voor 2020 hebben we een aantal organisatorische wijzigingen in gang gezet. Daaronder is de aanvraag bij de FIA die ertoe moet gaan leiden dat NKHTGT een internationale serie gaat worden. Een stap waar we aan toe zijn, al was het alleen al vanwege ons internationale programma en de bevestiging van de kwaliteit van onze serie. Ons doel is en blijft onze deelnemers een zo internationaal mogelijk, betaalbaar programma aan te bieden met FIA appendix K conforme pre ’66 toerwagens en GT’s. Voor u als deelnemer betekent dat twee dingen: zorg dat u beschikt over een internationale racelicentie en zorg dat uw auto voorzien is (of wordt) van een HTP. Overigens voldeed het overgrote deel van onze deelnemers al in 2019 aan beide vereisten.

Dit seizoen komen er weer prachtige auto’s aan de start, bestuurd door veel bekende maar ook veel nieuwe deelnemers. We zijn verheugd over vier nieuwe inschrijvingen uit Scandinavië, maar ook nieuwe deelnemers uit Duitsland en Nederland.

Op dit moment zijn er ruim 35 package deals verkocht. Bij 40 sluiten we de inschrijving, dit in verband met de 1-uursrace die we samen met de Triumph Competitions rijden tijdens de Spa Summer Classic. Zodra we 40 Package deals verkocht hebben, is alleen nog individueel inschrijven voor onze races mogelijk, mits er voldoende startplaatsen beschikbaar zijn. Wees er dus snel bij als je een heel seizoen wilt racen op de mooiste en aansprekendste Europese circuits! Natuurlijk houden wij als internationale serie de inschrijfgelden zo laag mogelijk. Dat wordt mede mogelijk gemaakt door onze zeer gewaardeerde sponsors Nolte Küchen, Gamma en HP Tyres.

Als voorzitter is het mijn taak om verder vooruit te kijken. In 2021 vieren we ons 25-jarig jubileum en dat doen we natuurlijk met een serie races op de mooiste circuits van Europa. Als internationale serie, met een organisatie die klaar is voor de toekomst, een stabiel en duidelijk reglement op basis van de technische regels van FIA appendix K en dat alles tegen zeer betaalbare inschrijfgelden.

Maar voor het zover is verheug ik me op een fantastisch seizoen 2020. Tot ziens op de Hockenheimring!
